Two Hands started with a simple idea: the body heals best when it is cared for from both sides – through touch and through food. We’re two friends, each bringing our own craft to that idea.

I grew up with Persian cooking, and its flavors- saffron, fresh herbs, slow-cooked stews- are still at the heart of my kitchen. I became vegetarian at 20, while studying science at university, and food has been part of how I think ever since. I went on to study in Switzerland and Germany and completed a PhD in neuroscience and immunology, researching how the immune system works in the body.
Cooking has always been my other passion. I cook in my own style, bringing together Persian and Oriental traditions with what I’ve discovered in Europe, and combining ingredients whose flavors and properties work well together and nourish the body. I love the science behind each ingredient and the power of simple, whole foods, prepared with care.
I love nature, and I spend as much time in it as I can: cycling up mountains and running trails. I love animals and care deeply about them. That shapes my kitchen too: seasonal produce, plant-based recipes, and meals that feel as good as they taste.
For me, being alive means moving, asking questions, and following my passions.

I was born and raised in Hamburg. In this multicultural city, I encountered a wide variety of experiences, participated in diverse projects, and gained insight into professional life from many different perspectives. Throughout it all, one common thread remained: working for and with people.
In 2016, my husband and I opened “CaféLaden” in Schwyz—a café that combined a second-hand shop, a bakery, and a lunch service. Before long, I found myself in the kitchen, cooking – something entirely new to me at the time. It soon grew into a true passion, and through my cooking, I gradually built up a loyal base of regular customers. We handed over the Café to new owners in 2026.
I first encountered Ayurveda about 15 years ago, specifically through the Abhyanga oil massage. The unique, profound sense of warmth and the feeling of being truly held brought me a deep sense of calm and activated my body’s own self-healing powers. Being able to receive these massages on a regular basis was key; over time, I noticed significant improvements in both my physical well-being and my emotional awareness.
Both preparing delicious food and sharing the unique experience of an Abhyanga massage bring me a deep sense of fulfillment.
